Iceblink, A story about Freedom

I was watching a PBS show last night after work before going to bed. Her is a family that captures my heart and spirit. They are unconventional, which makes me like them right away - hopefully unconventional (not saying this family's way) but but that unconventional starts to become conventional. Out of the box thinking is what the World and Life needs to keep it on its toes and spirit alive.

There is a popular movie in which the main character is a Pirate Captain who describes what a ship is, what a ship truly is ~ Freedom, Life and Spirit.

How many of us will ever see more than the surrounding area we were born in? No one telling you what to do - seeing the World on your terms, going wherever your heart desires.

People sometimes wish they were a dog when they see what kind of life a well treated dog gets and has. I sometimes fantasize about just giving up all possessions, getting a horse and adventuring out into the World. The hell will civilian life and letting someone be my master. Except I am probably too conditioned to sanitation and plumbing to make it work.

Another movie quote, though from a fiction fantasy movie, there is still merit in it.
"There comes a time thief, when the gold loses its luster, the gems cease to sparkle, and the thrown room becomes a prison. And all that a father has left is the the love for his daughter."

I wonder sometimes if the Native American Indians didn't have it better.
